Welcome to my website. I'm glad you've taken the time to visit. I believe that every child deserves a wondrous and joyful childhood, full of imaginative play. Every day, I work hard on this goal. Because for small children, play IS learning. What looks like just plain fun to us grown-ups is exactly what helps children grow strong minds, imaginations, and bodies. As a certified child care provider, I am able to offer the friendly, small environment of a family child care home with an adult-to-child ratio better than many centers.
I operate a state-certified family child care home. I'm proud to say that this means I have met the state of Oregon's highest regulations for family child care. I've also chosen to go through the National Association of Family Child Care's (NAFCC) accreditation process, and I meet higher national health, safety, and quality standards than many other programs. I've also chosen to be certified as an "Eco-Healthy Childcare" through the Oregon Environmental Council.
We are now designated as an "Oregon Program of Quality"...an exciting new statewide initiative to recognize quality in all types of child care settings. Visit this site to find out more.
