I was born and raised here in Oregon, and I've lived in and around the Portland area for all of my adult life. I'm married, with five children, ranging from elementary to middle school age. My husband and I stay busy with the care and upkeep of the preschool, camping, and our own children's extracurricular activities. I've operated my child care business since 2000, when my oldest daughter was born. Opening my own business not only gave me the opportunity to be home for my own children, it very quickly became clear to me that I wanted to make it my career. I've sought out much continuing training and education, and been able to meet many other providers who share my views and beliefs. I get excited about outdoor play, beautiful learning environments, and authentic experiences for young children.
